Are vintage Campy hubs as durable as new "Any Brand" hubs?
Many years ago, my rear Record hub flange crumbled and I had the rear end of my Medici spread to take a Shimano cassette hub. Since then, I have been building my own wheels and am considering building a set on vintage Campy hubs. I plan on putting a lot of miles on this bike and some rides of 120 miles in length so I want reliable hubs. Are vintage campy hubs just for looks? What other good looking skinny axle new hubs are out there?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
