Hi,

Maybe some similar experience about this, I have been motorbiking for the past 12 years or so and not once had an engine failure. Ran out of fuel or a flat battery but with regards to reliability, it seems that aircraft engines can't match a good Japanese bike engine.

Apart from that the power to weight ratio can't be compared, a bike engine generally operates in a more unfriendly enviroment, i.e heat and dust.

It just seems that all the effort going into certification and redundant systems (at a huge price) still can't guarantee the desired reliability?

Can't we ask Honda to build a R100k engine which gets thrown away at 2000 hours?

Any Suggestion Would be appreciate.

I didn't find right solution on the internet.
